At the recent G-20 Summit in Scotland the Obama admin attempted to persuade the other eighteen nations to dump the dollar. England agreed. Russia and China in the words of Daniel Estulin said, "go pound sand." The only economic reason to dump dollars would be to drastically cut wages in a foolish attempt to create more jobs. They know that the unemployment rate is not 17.5%. If you take out the fudging factors of the birth death model which assumes that millions of people are working for small businesses, the real unemployment rate is about 2.7% higher which would make it 21.2%.
Since most observers expect unemployment to rise 3 more points, I assume the Obama admin is trying to keep unemployment below 25%. We know these figures are accurate because income tax revenues are tanking. Last month the U.S. borrowed 56 cents of every dollar they spent. And they are talking about spending more money of Afghanistan. It is time that we asked them to justify every dollar spent in Iraq and Afghanistan by cutting a similar amount from domestic spending.
